Be completely humble and
gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make
every effort to keep the
unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is
one body and one Spirit -- just as you were called to one
hope when you were called - one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one
God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
-Ephesians 4:2-6 |
What Does "Intergenerational"
Mean?
|
As you look around and get to know us, you will find
that our church family is diverse. We all have different backgrounds,
which means you will find people of different ages, opinions, ethnic
heritage, family status, and any number of things. But even though we
have all these differences, we are still one family who all share the
same faith and goals. |
 |
 |
Our church family at Adams Blvd. is committed to
providing an environment for all ages and all people where everyone
belongs, where each person is valuable and welcomed, and where we all
help each other to become what God wants us to be. |
|
In order to have a church like this, we look for ways
that we can bridge all those things that often divide people – things
like age, social groups, and family differences. This is why we use the
word “intergenerational.” It simply means that we want to provide
opportunities for people from all walks of life to come together to
worship, enjoy life, and grow in our relationships with each other and
with God. |
