Not Finished Yet
Not Finished Yet is the name of our retirement age group. The original name is meant to convey the idea that we do not quit working for the Lord regardless of our age.
Our senior citizens are encouraged to work in all of our ministries. In addition, Not Finished Yet is offered to further enhance their service and fellowship.
Not Finished Yet meets at 10:30am on the third Tuesday of each
month, September through May. The meeting consists of fellowship around the coffee pot and appetizers, an interesting program varying from just fun things, slides of members' travels, financial, tax, and health subjects to spiritual matters. This is followed by an economical and delicious dinner.
Several day trips and an occasional overnight trip are made each year in our comfortable, air-conditioned bus. There are no charges for these trips other than meals, entrance fees,
etc.
Not Finished Yet sponsors the Bibles for Hope Harbor Kids project which provides a new, age-appropriate Study Bible for each new resident of Hope Harbor Children's Home and Academy. Other projects are undertaken
periodically.
We welcome all retirement age folks to come join us and in the words of our original song:
"We want to serve Jesus, and we love everyone. We're going to keep fighting until the victory is won. We want to keep giving much more than we get, let's live what our name is, We are Not Finished Yet."
