Calendar February’s theme is “Friends!” We’ll talk about the colors pink and red, hearts, and number 7. Chapel Our chapel time this month will focus on Jesus’ Friends. Special Events Doctor visit- Thursday, Feb 21 12pm Dr. Linda Doyle will come visit us to talk about her job taking care of children. Summer and Fall Sessions The enrollment forms are going home this week for the summer and fall sessions. Please return them by February 29. We will open enrollment to the community in March, and we expect our classes to fill up quickly.Camp Sonshine will begin Thursday, June 5. During the summer session, we’ll have classes from 12 months-elementary school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The enrollment fee is $15. A t-shirt is included in the enrollment fee so please indicate your child’s t-shirt size.During the fall session, we’ll have classes from 12 months-5 years. School will begin the week after Bartlesville Public Schools begin classes. The enrollment fee is $30. A t-shirt is included in the enrollment fee. In July we will contact you and ask for your child’s t-shirt size.If you need extra enrollment forms for friends or family, please stop by the office and let me know. Tuition Reminder Tuition is due the first class meeting of every month. Online Tuition Payments Have you considered paying your Sonshine School tuition online? It’s so easy! All of these local banks (Osage Federal, Arvest, 66 Credit Union, Home National Bank) offer online banking and bill pay. You can set up ABCC Sonshine School as a payee and your bank will send us a paper check every month! Be sure to put your child’s name in the memo line. Give me a call if you need help. Contact InformationIf your contact information (phone # s, address, work etc) has changed since you enrolled your child, please let me know or check with me to make sure I have your current contact info in case of an emergency. Wishing Tree The teachers are running low on some items and have posted them on the wishing tree. If you would like to help out, just take a snowflake and let me know. Return your purchases to the office with the snowflake so we’ll know where to take it. Thanks! Playtime If we get a nice day (above 50), we’ll go out to play. Please send your children with coats, hats and gloves in the event we get a nice day to play outside. Thanks! Inclement Weather If we are blessed with some white wintery weather, we will be closed if the Bartlesville Public Schools are closed. Please listen to KWON 1400 AM for local closings. I will try and contact you by e-mail to confirm our closing. If it snows and Bartlesville schools are open, please use the north entrance of the church building (under the canopy drive through at the top of the hill.) We will make arrangements to meet you in the upstairs lobby and walk your kids down to class. Valentine Parties Valentine activities vary based on classes and teachers’ preferences. Please check with your child’s teacher regarding food allergies, age appropriate treats, and when to bring treats.
