My wife Becky and I moved to Bartlesville in 1979. Previous to our move, I preached in Harrisburg, PA. and El Paso, Texas. I preached my first sermon at the Bartlesville congregation on May 20 of that year. God has blessed us with four children, all of whom are married and have blessed us many times over with 11 grandchildren.

My education has been varied. I completed a BA in Marketing and Management at the University of Texas at El Paso and Southern Nazarene University. My Bible training as been through the Sunset School of Preaching and Oklahoma Christian University of Science and Arts (MA in Ministry). It has been a privilege to do mission work in India, South Africa, Nicaragua and Albania.

We made the move to Bartlesville in April, 1977 after I accepted the job as Youth Minister here at Adams Blvd. in February of that year. My wife Shirley and I had been living in Edmond, Oklahoma when I accepted the position, and previous to that Kansas City, Missouri. Shirley and I are both graduates of Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, and she teaches at Madison Middle School here in Bartlesville.

We have two children. My son and daughter-in-law also live here in Bartlesville, and they have one child, while our daughter currently teaches kindergarten in Houston, Texas. 

In 1989 I made the transition from Youth Ministry to Family Ministry. Our lives have been so blessed by having the privilege of serving in this congregation all of these years. We are excited about the Family Center which will be constructed soon. It is going to provide so many opportunities for families to fellowship, worship, play and grow together. We invite your family to visit with us and see what makes this Family so special.
